Keeping Your Blinds Clean

Here are some quick and easy tips to keep your blinds and shutters clean and dust free.

For roller blinds the easiest way to remove light marks and dust is using a damp, not wet, cloth. Simply wipe down the fabric in a downward motion ensuring not to get them too wet.

Roman blinds and curtains are generally dry clean only but by using a dry fabric brush you can brush the fabric to remove light marks and dust.

To keep your venetian blinds and shutters clean and free from dust we use a fabric duster or feather duster and brush down carefully in the direction of the slats. Then tilt the slats upwards and repeat the same brushing action in an upward direction. Repeat on the other side. To remove light marks clean with water and a damp cloth.

Pleated blinds and perfect fit blinds are best cleaned lightly with a feather or fabric duster.
